The Olde Bulldogge Breed Association — OBBA — was founded in 2008 as a registry dedicated to the Olde English Bulldogge. We exist for two reasons: preserve the breed's pedigrees so that buyers can trust what they're buying, and support responsible breeders with the tools and credentialing they need to stand apart from the puppy mills, pet stores, and backyard breeders.
We register dogs. We register litters. We list kennels in our public breeder directory. We maintain the OBBA breed standard. Every breeder who lists with us commits to the Responsible Breeder Pledge. Every dog we register gets a public profile page with photo, pedigree, COI, and titles — the kind of transparency the breed has needed for a long time.
What OBBA is not. We are not a show club. We are not a breed-rights advocacy group. We are not affiliated with the Leavitt Bulldog Association, IOEBA, OEBKC, or UKC, though we recognize their pedigrees for dual-registration. We are an independent registry working for breeders and buyers of the Olde English Bulldogge.
Why a modern registry
For nearly two decades the OBBA registry ran on paper, a desktop database, and a WordPress site. That worked. It just didn't scale to where the breed is going. In 2026 we rebuilt the entire registry on the modern web — searchable public pedigrees, instant online registration, dog-by-dog profile pages, and structured data that AI assistants can read and cite. Every existing OBBA registration number stayed the same.
What you can now do at bulldoggeregistry.com that you couldn't do at the old WordPress site:
- Look up any OBBA-registered dog by name or registration number, public.
- See full pedigrees with linked ancestors back through the database.
- Register a dog or litter online and get the registration number immediately.
- Browse a real, filterable breeder directory with verified kennel listings.
- Print certificates and pedigrees from your own dashboard.
Flat fees, no tiers
Registration with OBBA is $20 across the board: $20 to register a dog, $20 per puppy in a litter, $20 to convert temporary puppy papers to a permanent registration, $20 for ownership transfers. Kennel registration is $24/month or $240/year.
The old Silver, Gold, and Platinum tier packages are retired. Every breeder pays the same. Start a registration.
Who we are
OBBA is run by Lesli Rose, a multi-decade breeder who also runs the American Bulldog Registry & Archives (ABRA) and pedigreedatabase.ca. The registry is operated as an independent organization with breeder volunteers and a small editorial team behind the knowledgebase.
