Responsible Breeder Pledge

Every OBBA-registered kennel commits to the following.

1. Honest pedigrees. Every dog I register accurately reflects its parents and lineage. I never falsify or alter pedigree records.
2. Sound breeding decisions. I breed for temperament, structure, and health. I do not breed for fad colors or features that compromise the dog's wellbeing.
3. Transparency with buyers. Buyers receive registration paperwork, written sales contracts, and honest information about the puppy's parents, health, and socialization.
4. Lifetime commitment. If a puppy I bred ever needs to be returned, I take it back. No OBBA dog should end up in a shelter.
5. Cooperation with the registry. I cooperate with OBBA officers on any inquiry or dispute and accept the registry's decision in matters of pedigree integrity.
